Free basic computer training is available at the Central Library . Learn computer basics, how to set up an email account, how to search the Internet, Word Processing for resumes and cover letters, and how to use the library’s catalog, magazine and newspaper searching, including our Genealogy and other databases. Training is offered all year long on Saturdays, at 9:00 and 10:00. Call 266-6350 to register for a 45-minute, one-on-one appointment, or for additional information.

Assistance at the South Madison Branch (2222 S. Park Street) is available on Tuesdays, September 8 through December 29 from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays, September 12 through December 19 from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.
This free, first-come first-serve service is sponsored by the UW-Madison Writing Center and the UW Division of Continuing Studies, with funding by the Evjue Foundation. Writing assistance is in English only. You may call one hour before each session to set up a half-hour appointment with the instructor.
