The online Morningstar Investment Research Center features up-to-date information about over 23,000 mutual funds and 7,000 stocks. The library version of the database offers access to many popular Premium features of Morningstar.com, including research and independent opinions on thousands of mutual funds, stocks, and exchange-traded funds, and also the same concise reports that are found in the printed Morningstar Mutual Funds. ReferenceUSA is a subscription database that offers a wealth of information on over 13 million businesses. Data is compiled from Yellow Page and Business White Page telephone directories; annual reports; 10-Ks and other SEC information; federal, state, provincial, and municipal government data; Chamber of Commerce information; leading business magazines, trade publications, newsletters, major newspapers, industry, and specialty directories; and postal service information. The General magazine and Business Resources databases provide citations and full text articles from many investing and business-related periodicals. NetLibrary Electronic Books
This collection of over 8,600 electronic books is available to anyone in the South Central Library System with internet access. Titles include over 7,000 non-fiction books on a wide range of topics. Dozens of personal finance-related titles are available. All books are fully searchable by key words, and electronic books include many enhancements, such as interactive indexes, a built-in dictionary, and limited ability to cut and paste text. For those who have a hard time reading the computer screen, type size of the book can be easily adjusted to a larger size. More information.
