Upcoming Building or Remodeling Projects

Will there be a new Central Library? When will the new South Madison Branch open?

Frequent stories covering library expansion have people asking us questions. Here's what we know about upcoming library expansion projects in the City of Madison, and more information about the usage maps and planning data our Library Board uses.

*due to changes at the madison.com web site in September 2009, most Wisconsin State Journal and Capital Times articles are no longer available online. The library has archival coverage of local newspapers.
